Some years before internet explorer from microsoft became the norm, Netscape ruled as the internet navigator system for windows. It suddently fell when microsoft decided to include there version (the internet explorer) of navigator free with there Windows OS package. There's been a long battle over Microsoft and this finally settle to include a window's version with Netscape supplied, but the hard hit was done... and Netscape have slowly dissapeared.
